Designed for the custom builder, the Motobilt MB1547 Dual Front Lower Shock Mounts provide a great solution for the mounting of dual front shocks on a Ford Super Duty Dana 60 front axle.
Made from 1/4” high grade American steel & professionally CNC press brake formed, these shock mounts offer a quick easy solution to the lower mounting of a pair of dual front shocks. We have included a positioning slot in these brackets which align with a threaded hole in the Upper C’s on a late model Ford Super Duty front axle. Simply drop in a bolt (not included) to precisely position the lower shock mounts parts prior to welding them on to your Axles Inner C’s.
The position of these shock mounts places the front lower shocks above the axle, to the furthest most point possible from the center of the vehicle for added stability & to utilize as much of the shock travel as possible for increased wheel travel & axle droop. The position also gives you the assurance there will be no interference with wheels, brakes, tie rods or other vital suspension components. We’ve taken out all the guess work.
12.0mm diameter mounting holes are for 2.5 Series coil over shocks, dampening shocks or bypass shocks. Holes can be drilled out larger at home, if required for your application. 5” center to center shock spacing.
